The Unique Iengra ethnographic complex project, which will create Russia's first health and recreation centre for children of indigenous peoples, was presented on Friday in Neryungri during an international championship on traditional reindeer herding. This is reported by TASS.

There are plans to create an ethnographic complex in the Iengra settlement in the Neryungri district, which will reveal the cultural diversity of the region and showcase the identity of indigenous peoples and their traditions. The project is designed in an ethnic style with national Evenki ornaments.

'In this centre, children will learn new skills in today's in-demand areas. These are IT technologies, environmental education, hospitality, traditional sports disciplines and military-patriotic education,' Alexey Semenov, director of the Iengra Development management company and project manager of the complex, told TASS.

The centre will allow children to receive education and health treatments in an environment as close to their natural environment as possible. It is also proposed to build a historical museum complex in Iengra. The project includes a national cuisine restaurant, a conference hall, a four-star hotel and a café. There is a stage for events, a children's playground, a rope park, guest houses and a chum-shaped glamping park.
