New AZRF Resident to open a beauty parlour in Chukotka in 2023

The company will provide face and body treatments, spa services, laser procedures, massage and hydro massage.

Pearl of Chukotka Ltd. is set to open a beauty parlour 'Mint' in the town of Bilibino. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the new resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (ASRF) will provide the company with modern equipment. Highly qualified specialists will provide more than 1,200 beauty and massage services every year.

The AZRF resident will enter the market of beauty and massage medical services in the city of Bilibino in 2023. The company will provide face and body treatments, spa services, laser procedures, massage and hydro massage. More than 1,200 services are to be provided every year.

'Currently, in order to use the beauty services, Bilibino residents have no choice but to go the central parts of the country. The issue is particularly acute for the women of Chukotka, as they are always trying to take care of their beauty and health, even in the harsh conditions of the Arctic climate. The implementation of the project will meet the demand for modern beauty and massage services,' — says Anastasia Zhuravel, the Director General of Pearl of Chukotka Ltd.

According to the agreement with FEDC, investments in the project will amount to 3 million rubles. The resident will use the funds to purchase professional equipment.

Currently, residents of ASEZ (Advanced Special Economic Zones), FPV (Free Port of Vladivostok) and AZRF, operating on the territory of the district, have invested 66.8 billion rubles under agreements with FEDC, creating more than 2.2 thousand jobs. The number of residents has reached 83, the total value of projects is 780.4 billion rubles, 8.1 thousand jobs are currently being created for Chukotka residents.

The process of obtaining AZRF resident status has been greatly simplified, one can apply for a residency via the Arctic Russia website.
