22 July 2022

An area of 300,000 sq.m will house a venue for mass events, as well as a year-round ethnopark with art installations and a chum tent, which, depending on the task at hand, can become a gallery or a stage with a mobile amphitheater. The news on the project was reported by the media office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Government. The plans involve the construction of children's playgrounds, as well as workshop and picnic zones. Routes for athletes and local lore buffs will be created, too. Legends will also feature a congress hall for festive and business events. A special attraction of the ethnopark will be deer, dog, and muskoxen farms. The complex will be available to locals and tourists all year round.

Svetlana Kondrina, director of the Dudinska Sports Centre: 'The park will include hardscaping and structures stylized as chum tents and other architectural elements following the recognizable style of Taymyr's indigenous peoples. Earthworks are underway already. The construction of four modular structures will begin later. These will include a fisherman's shack, a sauna complex, an administrative building, and a large multifunctional structure that will double as an amphitheater.'

Public catering outlets and gift shops will also be opened in the ethnopark.
