ASICA to expand training in master planning of northern territories to the FEFD and AZRF
The programme has been implemented since 2023.
5 September 2024The Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts (ASICA) will start training representatives of the regions of the Far East and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation under the educational programme 'Master Planning and Management of Territorial Development in Circumpolar Climate' in 2025. This was reported to TASS on the sidelines of the EEF by the rector of the university Sargylana Ignatyeva.
The programme is implemented by ASICA in cooperation with Universal University (UU) and MARCH Architecture School as part of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership programme from 2023. The first stage of the programme covers interdisciplinary teams from Yakutia.
'The programme is aimed at improving the qualifications of specialists in the field of strategic planning and management of development of territories of settlements in extreme climate conditions. The programme will also help to develop soft skills and leadership qualities necessary for working in interdisciplinary teams. We will begin selecting representatives from municipalities in the Far East and Arctic regions for the training programme in 2025,' said Ignatyeva.
