A new cheese factory is set to open in Salekhard. Local entrepreneur Garik Kocharyan plans to open it soon, according to the district capital's administration. This news was reported by SeverPress.

'Garik had long planned to open a cheese factory, even when he was launching his Gourmet Market store. Thanks to the Agrostartup grant, the idea was able to be realised,' the city administration's Telegram channel clarified.

The entrepreneur is getting ready for opening a new workshop. The cheese factory's features will include special equipment, a mini-laboratory, refrigerators and other machinery made in Russia. The entrepreneur intends to purchase raw materials from the dairy factory. The production line will make 15 varieties of cheese, including Parmesan, Camembert, Burrata and others. The inclusion of local berries in the recipe will lend the cheeses a unique Yamal touch.

The new cheese factory will have a daily production output of up to 20 kg.
