Volunteers from Serbia, China, Africa and Latin America to participate in Clean Arctic environmental project

13 April 2023Volunteers from China, Serbia, Central Africa and Latin America will take part in the Clean Arctic project, which aims to clean up the Arctic territory of the Russian Federation from the waste accumulated since the Soviet era. This was reported by TASS, citing the Clean Arctic press service.
It is noted that there are many applications from Western countries as well, but such applications are not considered at this time. Last field season, the first foreigners, mostly students from Moscow universities, took part in the general clean-up of the Russian Polar region.
In two years, more than 5,000 people have taken part in Clean Arctic activities. Volunteers from all over Russia have joined the project. In addition, volunteers from 10 countries participated in the clean-up, including Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Brazil, Bolivia, Congo and Mongolia.
