The investor for the tourism cluster project in Yamal will be identified in the spring of 2022

9 December 2021The authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area will select the investor for the tourism cluster project in the Polar Urals in the spring of 2022. This is what Dmitry Artyukhov, governor of the region, told Tass (a Russian news agency) on the sidelines of the ICE and Russian North forums.
'The contest has been announced. From March to April, we'll be summing up the preliminary results to determine the potential investor. We have received several applications. It's a comlex and multi-stage project,' Mr Artyukhov said.
The Forum of Young Leaders, ICE, is a single venue to promote international youth cooperation among the Arctic Council countries. Top projects of the young Arctic leaders will be developed and selected at the forum, which will then be included in the roadmap of international youth activities and events to be held until 2023. The VII Russian North Forum is simultaneously being held in the region.
The Forum of Youth of the Indigenous Minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation has opened in Salekhard. One hundred participants from the 28 regions of Russia have arrived in the capital of the district. The forum will be held from 6 to 9 December.
