The authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area will select the investor for the tourism cluster project in the Polar Urals in the spring of 2022. This is what Dmitry Artyukhov, governor of the region, told Tass (a Russian news agency) on the sidelines of the ICE and Russian North forums.

'The contest has been announced. From March to April, we'll be summing up the preliminary results to determine the potential investor. We have received several applications. It's a comlex and multi-stage project,' Mr Artyukhov said.

Top projects of the young Arctic leaders will be developed and selected at the forum, which will then be included in the roadmap of international youth activities and events to be held until 2023. The VII Russian North Forum is simultaneously being held in the region.
