The Seventh Arctic Festival 'Teriberka' will be held on July 16-17 in the Murmansk region as part of the activities programme under Russian chairmanship in the Arctic Council, organised by the Roscongress Foundation.

The goal of the festival in 2022 will be to cultivate awareness of visitors, said the deputy governor of the Murmansk region Olga Kuznetsova. 'We want everyone who comes to Teriberka for two days to be immersed in three emotional states through food, films, music and activities: awareness, responsibility for the environment and co-operation,' — said Olga Kuznetsova.

More than 25 representatives of the restaurant industry in the Murmansk region will take part in forming the menu of gastronomic food court 'Taste of the Arctic' at the VII Arctic Festival 'Teriberka'. Restaurateurs will present the best of the Arctic menu in a 'One-Hand-Food' format. Co-organiser of the gastronomic platform is the federal project 'Gastronomic Map of Russia'.

In addition to promoting local products and Arctic cuisine, the organisers of the festival follow other traditional ideas of 'Teriberka' — revealing the unique tourist potential of small territories in Russia's Arctic zone, the development of event tourism in the region.

For the first time during the festival the Committee of tourism of the Murmansk region will hold a tourist exhibition 'MURMANSK.TRAVEL Market', with more than 15 representatives of the industry telling the visitors about the destinations for weekend trips, and Russian Post will organise a mobile post office to send exclusive postcards. There will be a music venue at the festival.

In 2021, the festival 'Teriberka' was attended by over 5 thousand participants from 27 regions of Russia. The event was held as part of the cultural programme under the Russian chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021-2023.
