Russian Arctic zone resident to build and modernise several objects of the Arkhangelsk heat supply system
41 companies in the region have become residents of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. The total investment in their projects is over RUB 2 bn.
16 July 2021TEPAK LLC has been added to the list of residents of the Russian Arctic Zone in the Arkhangelsk Region. According to the press service of the Arkhangelsk Region Development Agency, the company has entered into agreements with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.
The new resident is planning to construct two new wood-fuel boiler houses in Arkhangelsk. The investor is also planning to purchase or modernise several heat supply facilities with a total investment volume of about RUB 700 mn.
According to Viktor Ikonnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region and Minister of Economic Development, Industry and Science of the region, the programme of benefits and preferential terms developed to support entrepreneurship in the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation has become popular among businesses. Ikonnikov said the results of this work will become apparent in a few years.
A total of 41 companies have become residents of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation in the Arkhangelsk Region. Their investment projects will total over RUB 2 bn and create 1,273 jobs.
