The volume of investments of 31 residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in the economy of the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will amount to RUB 37.6 bn, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation says, which will create more than 1,700 new jobs. According to the corporation's data, 23% of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation falls within the region. This was reported by TASS.

The initiatives of Arctic residents are realised in a variety of sectors: tourism, services, information technology, manufacturing, construction, trade and others.

The largest of the projects is the development of the Syradasay coal deposit. The project is being implemented by Severnaya Zvezda, which in 2020 became the first resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the end of 2022, coal shipment from the deposit has already started.
