In the AZRF, 123 participants of the Hectare in the Arctic programme received RUB 176.8 mn in regional support funds. The Far Eastern and Arctic Hectare project implementation department of JSC FEDC provided this information to the Arctic Russia investment portal.

The department noted that citizens who received land plots under the Hectare in the Arctic programme have access to more than 35 existing federal, regional and municipal state support measures. These include timber harvesting quotas for building individual houses, subsidies and grants for agricultural development, soft loans, support for start-up entrepreneurs and other measures.

According to the department's statistics, 73% of programme participants use their 'Arctic hectare' for housing construction, 10% for agricultural projects, 6% for leisure and recreation, 5% for entrepreneurship and 6% for other purposes.
