Likhachev: 10–15 floating nuclear power units to be required along the NSR and in the Far East

As per Rosatom's head, such a demand is projected for the upcoming 10 years.

The requirement for floating nuclear power units (FNPUs) along the North Sea Route and in the Far East could be 10–15 units over the next 10 years. Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Rosatom, announced this at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum, as reported by TASS.

'By the most conservative estimates, we foresee a need for floating nuclear power units along the NSR and in the Far East—up to 15 units, for the next 10–15 years,' stated the CEO of Rosatom, during the session 'Advanced Russian Technologies for Ensuring Technological Sovereignty and Development of the Far East and the Arctic.'
