Interaction Schemes Between Businesses and Regulatory Authorities of Three Arctic Regions Recognized as the Best in Russia
Three constituent entities of the Federation, whose territories are fully or partially included in the Arctic zone of Russia, are among the ranking leaders by forming the activities of regulatory authorities in the regions.
25 September 2020The Ministry of Economic Development has summed up the results of the implementation in the Russian regions of the target model "Regulation in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation" for 2019 and the first half of 2020. The application of the model is aimed at improving the work of the regulatory authorities and reducing the administrative burden on businesses.
According to the data provided to the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, one third out of 85 regions of Russia showed the highest results of the interaction between businesses and regulatory authorities. Among them are the Arkhangelsk Region, the Komi Republic and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, whose territories are fully or partially included in the country's Arctic zone.
The application of the model helped to reduce the number of inspections, and along with that, to reduce the burden of fines for businesses, since some of the measures became preventive, when employees of regulatory authorities help entrepreneurs to correct mistakes, rather than punish them.
