Foreign strategy: Yamal to attract Africans and enter Iranian markets with venison meat

22 November 2024The YNAA authorities have developed a draft strategy for the development of the region's non-resource non-energy exports. Among the directions are exporting venison to Iran and attracting tourists from Africa. This news was reported by SeverPress.
'The draft strategy is designed to develop non-resource non-energy exports of the region and create favourable conditions for achieving the indicators, according to the President's Executive Order On the Development Goals of the Russian Federation through 2030 and for the Future Until 2036,' press service of the governor of the YNAA commented the document. The development strategy envisages several directions.
Among the emphases highlighted in the project are the export of venison and by-products to Iran, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Yamal fish is proposed to be exported to Belarus, Serbia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Yamal also plans to attract tourists from EAEU countries. These are citizens who have the opportunity to visit the YNAA without a visa. People from African and Asian countries want to be surprised by climate, nature and ethnicity.
The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic has started work on updating the strategy for the development of the Arctic zone of Russia. This instruction was given by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
