A fishing village in Teriberka, Murmansk Region, was constructed by individual entrepreneur Oleg Yushchenko, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF).

From now on, the Siyaniye Severa tourist complex, which already includes guest houses and a restaurant, will also have infrastructure for fishing: a pier, fishing gear storage, a recreation area and a fish outlet for selling related goods. Tourists who come to the complex without their own fishing gear will be able to rent whatever they need.

The investor has renovated the existing wooden pier and added a new floating one, complete with a marina for fishing boats, as well as a slipway for embarking on sea fishing.

'Our fishing village is set to become one of Teriberka's highlights, which has been particularly popular among northern exotics enthusiasts in recent years,' shared entrepreneur Oleg Yushchenko.

The Far East Development Corporation reports that over 700 agreements have been signed with residents of the AZRF. Businesses have effectively invested over RUB 120 bn into the Arctic economy, creating 8.8 thousand jobs.
