On 8 August, the Arctic—2024. Healthy Digitalisation Interregional Forum kicked off in Yamal. Chief physicians of large medical institutions and IT specialists from more than 40 regions of Russia arrived for the two-day event. This was reported to the MK Yamal correspondent by the press service of the Yamal Department of Health.

In the business part of the programme, much attention will be paid to the introduction of client-centricity in medical organisations, built on the basis of information technology and artificial intelligence. The plenary session 'Digital for Humans' will be attended by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Health, the Yamal Department of Health and software developers. The forum will feature digital platforms to showcase the capabilities of modern technologies. 

'Yamal has firmly established itself among the leaders in regional digital transformation. Modern medical information systems ensure effective interaction between patients and doctors, while their main task is to improve people's living conditions,' said Irina Novoselova, First Deputy Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.
