About RUB 30 bn to be received by closed administrative towns and settlements of the AZRF

1 July 2024About RUB 30 bn for the development of infrastructure will be received by closed administrative towns and Arctic settlements in which military units are stationed. Subsidies will be provided this year and until 2026. This was reported by Eastrussia news agency.
These funds will be used to build kindergartens and schools for citizens living in closed administrative-territorial entities and settlements in the Arctic zone, modernise public infrastructure, repair roads, update housing stock and social facilities, and improve public spaces.
Subsidies for the development of housing, energy and social infrastructure in such territories will be received, among other things, within the framework of the state programme 'Socio-Economic Development of the Russian Arctic.'
