A new resident of the Chukotka PDA, OOO Hotels of Anadyr, is imprving one of the region's most popular hotels, "Chukotka." This was reported by Eastrussia.

The investor will renovate all 24 hotel rooms and a 50-seat restaurant, infusing them with local cultural elements. All work is planned to be completed in the third quarter of next year. The project will cost 20 million rubles. The interiors will be decorated with paintings by local artists, Chukchi ornaments and the designer lighting mimicking the northern lights. 

The hotel complex "Chukotka" spans four floors and can accommodate up to 9,000 guests annually.

"Modernising hospitality infrastructure is crucial not only for increasing tourist flow in the region but also for attracting investors. When assessing investment attractiveness, all factors are considered, including the potential for the development of tourism and business activities. As a result, a well-developed hotel sector can facilitate investment inflow, job creation, and the emergence of new business niches," noted Interim Deputy Governor Anton Yaremchuk.
