The readiness of the icebreakers Yakutiya and Chukotka is 68% and 31%, respectively.

The readiness of the icebreaker Rossiya is approximately 11%, and the fifth icebreaker of the LK-60 series will be laid down in the nearest future.

The technology readiness of the 60 MW nuclear-powered icebreakers Yakutiya and Chukotka (Project 22220), currently under construction, is about 68% and 31%, respectively. As reported by a PortNews correspondent, these figures were announced by Leonid Irlitsa, head of Atomflot, during the 13th International Forum "Arctic: Present and Future." Based on the provided data, the technology readiness of the 120 MW nuclear-powered icebreaker Rossiya (Project 10510), currently being built at the Zvezda shipyard, is just over 11%.

Leonid Irlitsa also said that the fifth serial (sixth overall) 60 MW nuclear-powered icebreaker is planned to be laid down at the Baltic Shipyard in St. Petersburg in the near future.

According to the construction programme, the Yakutiya icebreaker is scheduled for delivery in December 2024, the Chukotka icebreaker in December 2026, and the Rossiya icebreaker in December 2027.
