In Novy Urengoy, work on the construction of a radiotherapy building was completed. The building is undergoing the commissioning of video surveillance and communication systems, as well as the installation of equipment and furniture. The facility is being turned over to the health system on a turnkey basis. This was reported by the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area regional government's press service.

The area of the three-storey building is more than 7.5 thousand sq m. The hospital has a boarding house with 10 single rooms, a 25-bed inpatient unit, specialised treatment and support facilities. At the second-floor level, the building is connected by a passageway to the surgical department building under construction.

In front of the main entrance to the radiotherapy building, there is a walking area with recreation grounds. Also, as part of the improvement, landscaping was carried out on the adjacent territory. Fencing and exterior lighting has been installed. There is a checkpoint, oxygen station and parking lot adjacent to the medical facility.
