An automated poultry farm in Bilibino in the Chukotka Autonomous Area has reduced the cost of chicken eggs in the region by more than 2.5 times. This was reported by TASS.

'The AZRF resident poultry farm in Chukotka has produced 400,000 chicken eggs since its launch in August 2024. The new production allowed to reduce the cost of the products demanded in the region by more than 2.5 times,' said in a message published on the website of the FEDC.

With the expansion of livestock up to 14 thousand birds in 2025, the capacity will double and exceed 12 thousand eggs per day. This will make it possible to achieve the volumes planned under the investment project—production and sales of about 4 million eggs per year. Deliveries go to a number of stores in Bilibino, social institutions and remote settlements of the district.

'We built the first poultry farm in the Bilibinsky district. Previously, chicken eggs were only imported and local residents were forced to buy products from other regions of the country at a rather high price of RUB 500. State support measures, including tax benefits and administrative preferences of the AZRF regime, helped to create a highly automated production in accordance with the leading quality standards of poultry breeding and offer a product in demand in Chukotka at an affordable cost of RUB 190,' said individual entrepreneur Shamil Gadzhiev.
