With an increase in the number of business entities, tax deductions in the Murmansk Region are also on the rise.

Today's operational meeting in the regional government discussed the support provided to entrepreneurs in 2023 and plans for 2024. The number of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs saw a 4.3% increase in 2023, reaching nearly 26 thousand. This is what the press service of the Murmansk regional government reports.

'In the first 11 months of 2023, the budget saw a 14% increase in funds due to the application of the simplified taxation system, and tax deductions from professional income increased by 1.5 times. In total, over RUB 300 mn were allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses in 2023. The simplified taxation system's rates have been extended until 2025,' announced Andrey Chibis, the Governor of the Murmansk Region. 

In the Murmansk Region, there are a total of 51 measures in place to support small and medium-sized businesses. In 2023, approximately 3.3 thousand instances of various support were provided to citizens interested in doing business, entrepreneurs and the self-employed across all sectors.
