1 July 2024The first gastronomic festival in the Arctic, Wild Dinners, will take place beyond the Arctic Circle on the territory of the Putorana Plateau in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Festival organiser Khayyam Aminov reported this to TASS.
'For the first time in Russia, the Wild Dinners gastronomic festival will be held in the Arctic territory on the Putorana Plateau. We invite four chefs from different regions of Russia to it. They will prepare an outdoor dinner for tourists using local products of Siberian cuisine. The festival is planned for the period of mid-August to mid-September,' Aminov said.
According to him, a total of two dinners are planned for the festival, each for 40 people. 'Our restaurant holding Fresco Group launched this festival at the Marble Quarry in Krasnoyarsk last year and the demand was very high. One of the objectives of the project is the development of tourism in the region. There is already a lot of interest in the project in the Arctic,' explained the organiser of the dinners.
It is planned to deliver festival participants to the plateau by helicopter or hovercraft.
