The Russian Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East has developed several online services for businesses. Aleksander Krutivo, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, discussed these services at the 10th Arctic: Today and the Future International Forum.

According to his statement, on 1 June 2021, an online service will be launched in the Arctic for the provision of free land plots for any non-prohibited economic activity, as well as sea plots for aquaculture.

In AZRF, a special platform for promoting products for small businesses was launched in 2020 in partnership with Razvivay.RF.

'During the spring and summer lockdowns, we launched an online service with Razvivay.RF called онлайн.развивай.рф. Any entrepreneur working in the Arctic can create a free online shop on the platform and receive a grant from the state to promote their products, services, and online activities. Over 5 months, we had 2,500 entrepreneurs sign up for the service. We have decided to continue maintaining and developing the service further, whether or not restrictions are imposed', Aleksander Krutikov reiterated.

Vladimir Gudkov, Deputy Director of the Department of Residential Policy at FEDC, also spoke at the forum. He spoke about the personal account for investors and the Corporation's experience with its activities on the territory of the AZRF.

'The investor's personal account is a unified point of access for carrying out the entire process of working with residents and investors. We will strive to ensure that this service becomes the starting point for all projects being implemented in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and those applying for benefits and preferences. We will gradually be expanding the range of services offered in 2021, based on real demand from the residents. Before the end of this year, we are planning to launch a mobile app for iOS and Android that will better facilitate dialogue between investors and project managers, providing instant access to documents and other project information', Vladimir Gudkov reported.

A representative of the Corporation noted the importance and necessity of introducing new formats of interaction between business and government that would transform and simplify communications, making it more accessible, and, most importantly, using the latest accomplishments in digitalisation.
