In Kirovsk, Murmansk Region, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) has opened the city's first hospitality facility with maximum accessibility to the mountain slopes of the Khibiny. Sokroma Real Estate (owned by Sokroma Hotels Group, St. Petersburg) has renovated the historic 1935 building.

The three-star chain spa hotel Sokroma Hyperborea has 45 rooms in different categories from economy to deluxe, a lobby, children's room and meeting rooms.

Each apartment has a living room, individual kitchen, bedroom area, underfloor heating and WC, wired internet, TVs with free online cinema access and the option to order in-room meals. Shading during the period of white nights, which lasts until July, is provided by blackout curtains. Storage and drying systems are available for skiers. Those who come to Kirovsk in summer will be offered to go hiking for rare minerals that are found only in the Khibiny.

According to the owner of the Sokroma Hyperborea Hotel, the development of the project is ongoing. The spa will open in the autumn with a Russian steam room, a phyto zone, a hammam and a salt room.
