'I would like to request that you prioritise the Arctic territories in the same way as the Far East when formulating new national projects. The funding for those projects that will be included in the master plans should be guaranteed and prioritised. This is fundamentally important, it is the stance of all Arctic governors, and it is very important to us, Vladimir Vladimirovich,' Andrey Chibis addressed the head of state.

According to him, such a policy could help reduce the population decline in the North.
