Nelmin-Nos is a settlement of genuine reindeer herders. The edge of the earth, beyond that only the Arctic Ocean. Local life has been honed over the centuries. Even now, life would not be possible without these strong and hardy tundra inhabitants. Reindeer have provided man with literally everything: food, clothing, a home. They have become a source of life.

It is not only the fatness of a reindeer that is valued, the skins are used to make clothes and shoes. It has unique thermal protection properties. They make a shelter. The most expensive part of it is the nyuki. A minimum of 80 reindeer skins are needed to make such a cover.

For now, the settlement will only supply its own needs, but there are plans to increase production.
