Ministry for Development of the Russian Far East and Senators are Dealing with the Problems of Airlines of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic
The Ministry of Development of the Far East and the Arctic, together with the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs, is preparing a series of solutions to overcome the problems that the regional airlines of the Far East and the Arctic have faced due to coronavirus.13 July 2020
According to the resolution on assistance to Russian airlines adopted in May by the Government of the Russian Federation, RUB 23.4 billion will be allocated to the airlines to cover losses associated with the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
Alexander Kozlov, Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, confirmed his willingness to help in working out all the proposed measures to help regional airlines. 'Of course, we need to work together. Regional air transportation in the Far East and in the Arctic is one of our priority topics', the Minister said.
