Rosatom State Corporation has announced the selection of a federal budget subsidy recipient to create a digital ecosystem for the North Sea Route (NSR). Thisistaimyr.org writes about it.

We are talking about creating an 'ice navigator.' The digital ecosystem includes the installation of on-board automated information and measurement systems on vessels in the NSR waters, as well as on ice reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters.

Applications for eligibility will be accepted until 12 March. The winner will be announced by 17 March and the agreement will be concluded by 6 April 2023.

The array of information on weather conditions, ship and icebreaker positioning and port congestion will be made available on the NSR digital services platform, where registered users—cargo carriers, ship owners, shipmasters and insurers—will be able to work with it.
