Additional flights from Yamal cities to be launched on New Year holidays

The newly available destinations will include Tyumen, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Kazan and Sochi

Airlines will introduce additional flights from the towns of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area (YNAA) to Tyumen, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Kazan and Sochi on the eve of the New Year and during the vacations. According to the TASS news agency, this was announced by the press service of the YNAA government on Wednesday.

'Yamal Airlines has studied the increased demand for travel during the New Year vacations and has introduced several additional flights. Sales are now open for the Salekhard–Tyumen flight, one of the most popular routes, scheduled for 29 December. Additional flights from Nadym to Tyumen and Moscow have also been scheduled for 29 and 30 December. There will also be additional flights to Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Kazan and Sochi for passengers departing from Novy Urengoy,' the statement says. Moreover, at the end of the New Year holidays, on 9 January, an extra flight will run between Tyumen and Novy Urengoy.

S7 Airlines will operate flights from Novy Urengoy to Moscow and Novosibirsk, while the UVT Aero airline will operate flights to Kazan. The first winter flight between Novy Urengoy and Sochi is scheduled for 27 December and is operated by Yamal Airlines. From 8 January, flights to Sochi will become regular, departing weekly on Saturdays. Yamal Airlines also scheduled an additional flight to Moscow on 31 December.
