About RUB 1.5 tn will be invested in the implementation of Norilsk's development strategy until 2035
The investment will be directed towards improving the transport network, as well as the socio-economic and industrial growth of the city.
8 July 2023Around RUB 1.5 tn will be allocated for the development of Norilsk as a key Arctic city by 2035. This was reported by TASS, citing the city administration.
These funds will be used to organise a comfortable living environment in Norilsk, develop the transport network and, in general, for the socio-economic and industrial development of the city.
According to the strategy developers' forecasts, by 2035, the average annual resident population of Norilsk will amount to 196,400 people. The population's monetary income is expected to increase 2.1 times compared to the level of 2021.
Norilsk is one of the most northern cities in the world. It is home to 180,000 people.
