A new recreation centre, The Land of True People, is being developed in Chukotka. The centre will be constructed by Odal LLC. The company has already been listed among the residents of the Chukotka ASEZ (advanced special economic zone) with the assistance of the Chukotka ASEZ management company.

The project is aimed at offering recreation and entertainment activities to attract more tourists to the region. The company intends to build several modular structures shaped like a traditional Chukchi home (Yaranga) and develop a flexible pricing policy for tourists. The construction location is currently under approval.

The project is set to be implemented in 2024. The investment project will amount to over RUB 8.5 mn and create 5 new jobs. 

Residents of all preferential regimes in Chukotka Autonomous Area have already invested RUB 10 bn in the region's economy under agreements with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, creating more than 1.7,000 jobs. The total number of residents has reached 70. Investor projects are worth RUB 619 bn in total and are set to create 6,800 jobs.
