The Russian Arctic national Park will create tourist facilities on the Northern island of the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in 2021 at the Expense of two grants from the Federal tourism Agency, the press service of the Park said in a statement, the TASS Agency writes.

The press service clarified to TASS that the amount of grants is 3.5 million rubles. Some of the funds are intended for assessing the anthropogenic impact on the environment. "Work to assess the impact of tourist traffic on the Arctic nature will also be carried out at Cape Desire," the press service added.

In 2021, a visit center is planned to open at Cape Desire, where The Russian Arctic field base is located. Calculate the allowable load will help to optimize the tourist flow in Novaya Zemlya cluster Park.
