AZRF Resident to Create Major Transport Hub in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area
17.04.2022 // A new resident of the Arctic Zone of Russia, the Obskoi Prichal (lit.: Ob Pier) company, is creating an industrial park of regional significance on Yamal. The park will occupy 78 hectares and house production facilities, a logistics area, warehouses and office buildings. The status of AZRF resident will help the company to accelerate the implementation of its investment project.
The management company Obskoi Prichal will be responsible for the maintenance of all facilities on the territory of the industrial park. Tenants will have access to the property and logistics infrastructure, loading and unloading services, rental of special equipment, as well as individual support for organising their work in the park.
The industrial and logistics park Obskoi Prichal is being built in the city of Labytnangi at the initiative of the government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. The park is conveniently situated to become a major transportation hub featuring water, air, rail and road modes of transport. The creation of the industrial park will allow to implement the objectives of the Strategy of the Arctic Zone of Russia and the Strategy of Socio-Economic Development of Yamal up to 2035.
Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, private investment in the project will exceed 30 million rubles. More than 60 jobs will be created.
"Today we are actively looking for park residents. They could include companies from the manufacturing and comprehensive transport-and-logistics support industries. Promising areas of growth for the industrial park include the production of materials, equipment, parts and machinery for the oil and gas industry, the production of chemicals, construction materials and metal structures, as well as the provision of logistics and manufacturing infrastructure," says the General Director of Obskoi Prichal Yaroslav Vyshidenko.
